The top table is two-piece plate of fine vertical grained spruce.
The back table is a one-piece slab cut maple.
The ribs are of matching character to that of the back table.
The neck and scroll are original of plain grain maple.
The varnish is a light brown with an orange tint.
This fine example of Carcassi workmanship has been fully restored to excellent condition. it has a lush, very projecting quality of sound, with much power and evenness in all playing registers.
