  • Top table is a four-piece plate of fir ranging in grain from wide slab on outer flanks to partial vertical grain cut on the center joint
  • Back table is a two-piece plate of figured poplar cut on a modified slab
  • Ribs of matching poplar to that of the back table; center bout ribs have a decorative overlay as does the both f-holes on top table
  • Original scroll of plain grained poplar with modified flamed maple neck graft
  • Individual brass tuning gears mounted on brass plates
  • Varnish is dark reddish brown
  • Bass bears the makers label within.
  • A wonderful bass offering a fine Italian quality of sound for both orchestral and solo capacity use.
