  • The cello has the manuscript label within bearing the name Hanns Khogl dated 1669
  • Top table is a two-piece sectional plate of wide vertical grained spruce with single line inlaid purfling
  • Back table is a two-piece sectional plate of moderately flamed maple with single line inlaid purfling
  • Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
  • Original scroll with neck graft of slightly flamed maple
  • Varnish is deep brownish amber with reddish hues
  • Mint condition; fully restored by Kolstein Violin Shop in 1998
  • Overall body length: 29 7/8 in. (75.7 cm.)
