  • Top table is two-piece fine vertical grained spruce
  • Back table is one-piece highly flamed maple
  • Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
  • Original scroll of moderately flamed maple with a nice flamed maple neck graft
  • Varnish is lovely, transparent, brown amber; quite spectacular aesthetically
  • The sound is quite warm and projecting - truly classic 18th century Neapolitan tonal qualities
  • Has had minor top repair, expertly done, and is in excellent condition
  • Overall body length: 350 mm.
  • This extremely fine and rare example of Poppella workmanship has the original makers' label within and certification from:
