Made in Germany, circa 1900
Top table is a two piece sectional
plate of fine vertical grained spruce
Back table is a two piece plate of
broad flamed maple with flames slightly
descending the center joint
Ribsare of matching character maple
to that of the back table.
Scroll & Neck: both original of
broad flamed maple
Varnish: deep brownish amber
Excellent condition. This fine instrument
offer a most impressive sound in a more delicate designed violin. A great violin for any player,
but idea for player required a full size violin with a slightly shorter body length. A most
unusual find in a violin.
