Ernst Heinrich Roth was a master violin maker in the early 1900s. Based in Markneukirchen, his personal instruments from the 1920s and 1930s were beautiful examples of high quality violin making. Ironically, in 1902, Ernst Heinrich Roth built a workshop with his cousin August Ficker, which succeeded beyond the reputation of his personal work.
