Romeo Gabute Bass

This strong and elegant 3/4 Orchestral Gamba corners, round back upright bass is an outstanding example of artistry! The instrument was handcrafted by Romeo Gabute. Featuring fine brass tuning gears, ebony fingerboard, adjustable Kolstein bridge, ebony tailpiece, and Belcanto orchestral strings. The varnish was expertly applied, with reddish brown overtones, and the neck has a very pleasing form thanks to the gamba corners; it is quite sturdy and not too huge, allowing for more control and ease of playing.
