Top is a two piece sectional plate of slab cut Fir
Back table is two-piece sectional table of slab cut pearwood
Ribs of matching pearwood to that of the back table
The Scroll and Neck are not original of a later period
The gears are individual brass Busan style tuners
Varnish is deep brownish amber color with reddish hues
Tonal qualities: A most impressive orchestral qualities. fine depth,excellent point and definition of sound . This fine bass has influence of the fine Gagliano workmanship.
