Made in Budapest, Hungary circa 1870
- Top table is a two-piece plate of medium vertical grained spruce
- Back table is a two-piece plate of moderately flamed maple
- Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table with maple outer moldings adjoining
the top and back tables
- Original scroll of plain grained maple with a moderately flamed maple neck graft
- Individual brass individual tuning gears
- Varnish is deep Brownish Amber Color
- Fully restored to excellent condition
- This fine Bass is a most impressive Orchestral Bass Violin with great solo capabilities.
It offers deep lush projecting tone, quite even throughout the full registers of the
instrument.
