3/4 sized Bass Violin, gamba shaped,
flat back model
Top table is a two piece plate of
medium vertical grained spruce.
Back is a two piece plate of modified
slab cut poplar
Ribs are of matching character poplar
to that of the back table.
Gears are brass individual italian
style tuners.
Neck & Scroll: Scroll is of a
latter period of poplar.
Varnish: deep reddish brown.
Excellent condition, with great orchestral
tonal qualities…strong projection and great depth and evenness.
