- The top table is a two piece plate of fine vertical grained spruce
- The back table is a one piece plate of plain grained maple
- The ribs are of a matching character maple to that of the back table
- The scroll is original of maple with a highly flamed maple neck graft
- The varnish is a deep reddish brown with amber hues
