Top table is a two-piece plate of modified slab-cut fir
Back table is a two-piece plate of slab-cut poplar
Ribs of matching poplar to that of the back table
Scroll and neck are original of slightly figured maple
Decorative individual bass tuning gears
Varnish is deep reddish brown
This bass is truly an amazing orchestral bass with a smaller stature for ease of solo capacity playing. It has great projection, wonderful sonarity of its tonal qualities. A wonderful example of this maker’s workmanship.
