Top table is two-piece fine vertical grained spruce
Back table is two-piece slab-cut poplar with slight flaming
Ribs of plain grained poplar
Original scroll of moderately flamed maple with a broad flamed maple neck graft
Varnish is deep reddish brown with amber hues
This violin produces a deep, lush sound that is even in all registers – a fine example of Italian craftsmanship both aesthetically and tonally
Fully restored to excellent condition
Overall body length: 353 mm.
Width at the upper bout: 163 mm.
Width at the center bout: 109 mm.
Width at the lower bout: 203 mm.
