Made in Markneukirchen c. late 19th century

Top table is a two-piece plate of medium vertical grained spruce
Back table is a two-piece plate of moderately flamed maple
Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
Scroll and neck are original of moderately flamed maple
Individual Baker style tuners
Varnish is reddish brown
Wonderful bass in all aspects, tonally and aesthetically. Great for orchestral and jazz capacity use.
