German Guarneri Model Violin
Made in Mittenwald, Germany c. 1920
- Top table is two-piece fine vertical grained spruce
- Back table is two-piece moderately flamed maple with the flame descending slightly from the center joint
- Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
- Scroll and neck are original of moderately flamed maple
- Varnish is deep brownish amber – antiqued
- Excellent condition
- Overall body length: 354 mm.
- Width at the upper bout: 166 mm.
- Width at the center bout: 112 mm.
- Width at the lower bout: 205 mm.
