Guilio Degani Shop Violin
Made in Venice, Italy c. 1910

Top table is two-piece medium vertical grained spruce
Back table is two-piece broad flamed poplar
Ribs of matching poplar to that of the back table
Scroll and neck are original of plain grained maple
Varnish is deep reddish brown
Tonal qualities: very high quality sound with great depth and darkness, yet powerful projection
Mint condition:
- Top was restored in 1982 by Samuel Kolstein & Son, Ltd.
Overall body length: 357 mm.
