Top table is two-piece medium vertical grained spruce
Back table is two-piece highly flamed maple
Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
Scroll and neck are original of moderately flamed maple
Varnish is a very nice quality light brownish amber
Tonal qualities: very large, projecting, dark sound with excellent definition in all ranges
This fine viola is in perfect condition
Overall body length: 16 1/2 in. (419 mm.)
