Top table is a 2-piece plate of medium vertical grained spruce
Back table is a 2-piece plate of highly flamed English Soft Maple with ribs of matching character to that of the back table
Original scroll of moderately flamed maple with a moderate flamed maple neck graft
Varnish is a deep brownish amber color
Gears are individual baker style gears mounted on brass plates
Bass has been fully restored by the Kolstein Shop in 2018
This instrument although in our opinion is a fine crafted J.F. Lott copy offers all the master qualifications of ever strong projection and great depth of sound in all registers
