Made in England c. 1820
- Top table is a two-piece plate of medium vertical grained spruce
- Back table is a two-piece plate of moderately flamed soft English maple
- Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
- Original scroll of plain grained sycamore with a plain grained maple neck graft
- Individual brass tuning gears mounted on decorative brass plates
- Varnish brownish amber
- This impressive example of Brown craftsmanship has an extremely large orchestral sound; projects in all registers; wonderful professional orchestral instrument
- Fully restored to excellent condition

- Width at the upper bout: 22 in.
- Width at the center bout: 15 1/2 in.
