3/4 Size, Violin Cornered, Round Back Model
Made in Milan, Italy c. turn of the 1900’s
- Top table is a two-piece plate of fine grained quarter-cut fir
- Back table is a two-piece plate of slab-cut pearwood
- Ribs of matching pearwood to that of the back table
- Original scroll of pearwood with a slightly figured maple neck graft
- Italian style Montavani tuning gears
- Varnish is deep reddish brown
- Fully restored to excellent condition
- Overall body length: 40 3/4 in.
- Width at the upper bout: 18 1/4 in.
- Width at the center bout: 14 1/4 in.
- Width at the lower bout: 22 1/4 in.
- Mensure (string length): 40 3/4 in.
