Full-cut 3/4 Size, Violin-cornered, Roundback Model
Made in Markneukirchen, Germany c. 1920
- Top table is a two-piece plate of medium vertical grained spruce
- Back table is a two-piece plate of moderately flamed maple with the flame descending slightly from the center joint
- Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
- Scroll and neck are original of moderately flamed maple
- Brass German plate tuners
- The bass has a fingered extension
- Varnish is deep brownish amber
- This excellent example of older Rubner workmanship offers great depth and quality of sound; superb solo and orchestral characteristics in a moderately priced instrument

- Overall body length: 43 7/8 in.
- Width at the upper bout: 19 1/4 in.
- Width at the center bout: 13 3/4 in.
- Width at the lower bout: 24 5/8 in.
