Top-2 piece plate of medium vertical grained spruce
Back-4 piece sectional plate of burled maple.
Ribs- matching to the back table
neck and scroll- both of a latter period of slightly figured maple
Gears-individual Tyrolean wooden knob tuners.
Varnish-deep reddish
amber.
Comments: This is a wonderful old world bass with fine tonal qualities for
both Jazz and Orchestral purposes.
