Made in Mantua, Italy c. 1925
- Top table is two-piece broad vertical grained spruce
- Back table is two-piece quarter-cut maple with narrow flames descending slightly from the center joint
- Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
- Scroll and neck are original of matching maple to that of the back table
- Varnish is brownish orange
- This fine example of Scarampella workmanship has an exquisite, warm sound with strong projection and great depth; an excellent instrument for any level of orchestral or solo playing
- Excellent condition.
