Made c. 19th Century
- Top table is a two-piece plate of spruce ranging in grain from broad in the outer flanks to fine at the center joint
- Back table is a two-piece plate of slightly figured maple
- Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
- Original scroll of plain grained maple with a moderately flamed maple neck graft
- German plate tuning gears
- Varnish is brownish amber
- Excellent condition
- Overall body length: 42 1/4 in.
- Width at the upper bout: 20 1/2 in.
- Width at the center bout: 14 in.
- Width at the lower bout: 24 3/4 in.
- Mensure (string length): 41 1/2 in.
