Made in Manchester, England c. 1841

Top table is a two-piece plate of medium vertical grained spruce
Back table is a two-piece plate of moderately flamed maple, branded with the maker’s brand, W. Tarr, below the neck block button
Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
Original scroll of plain grained maple with a moderately flamed maple neck graft
Baker style tuning gears mounted on brass plates
Varnish is deep brownish amber
Excellent condition
