Back table is two-piece plain grained maple with slight figuring
Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
Scroll and neck are original of plain grained maple
The tuners are Italian Tyrolean individual knobbed gears
The instrument is set up for the modern school of steel string playing with a tension-compensating, raised saddle and a Kolstein adjustable bridge
Varnish is dark brownish amber
This fine example of Venetian craftsmanship produces an impressive strong, dark, typically Italian sound which is excellent for orchestral or jazz requirements.
