  • Top table is a six-piece plate of vertical grained spruce ranging from fine at the center to moderately slab-cut at the upper bouts
  • Back table is a two-piece plate of slab-cut, slightly flamed willow
  • Ribs of matching willow to that of the back table
  • Original scroll of plain grained poplar with a poplar neck graft
  • Individual Tyrolean brass knob tuners
  • Varnish is deep reddish brown
  • This magnificent solo and orchestral instrument has excellent depth and wonderful projection
  • Fully restored to mint condition
  • Overall body length: 41 1/2 in.
