  • Back table is a two-piece plate of moderately flamed maple with the flame descending slightly from the center joint
  • Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
  • Scroll and neck are original of moderately flamed maple
  • Brass German plate tuners
  • The bass has a fingered extension
  • Varnish is deep brownish amber
  • This excellent example of older Rubner workmanship offers great depth and quality of sound; superb solo and orchestral characteristics in a moderately priced instrument
