  • Top table is a six-piece plate of spruce ranging from modified slab-cut at the center to fine vertical grained at the outer flanks
  • Back table is a two-piece plate of slab-cut poplar
  • Ribs of matching poplar to that of the back table
  • Original scroll of poplar with a slightly figured maple neck graft
  • Individual brass Baker tuning gears
  • Varnish is deep reddish brown with amber hues
  • This instrument is an excellent example of the maker's craftsmanship; extremely fine projection and depth of tone; even in all registers; fine caliber orchestral bass
  • Fully restored to excellent condition
  • Overall body length: 44 3/4 in.
  • Width at the upper bout: 20 1/4 in.
  • Width at the center bout: 14 5/8 in.
  • Width at the lower bout: 25 3/4 in.
