  • Back table is a two-piece plate of slab-cut English black poplar with an ebony half moon inlay at the neck block button
  • Ribs of matching poplar to that of the back table
  • Scroll and neck are original of slab-cut poplar
  • Individual Rococo brass tuning gears
  • Varnish is antiqued deep brownish amber with reddish hues
  • Deep, lush projecting sound; extremely even in all registers. A fine professional bass violin with impressive tonal qualities for both Jazz and Orchestral use.
