19th Century Prague Cello Made in Prague, Czechoslovakia c. 1890

  • Top table is two-piece medium vertical grained spruce
  • Back table is one-piece moderately flamed maple
  • Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
  • Scroll and neck are original of plain grained maple
  • Varnish is deep reddish brown
  • Tonal qualities: deep, projecting
  • Excellent condition with minor repaired top cracks
  • Overall body length: 76 cm.
