Italian Violin from the Milanese School Made c. 1900

  • Top table is two-piece fine vertical grained spruce
  • Back table is two-piece moderately flamed maple
  • Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
  • Scroll and neck are original of slightly flamed maple
  • Varnish is a lovely deep, reddish amber; antiqued
  • Tonal qualities: deep, rich, projecting sound
  • Near perfect condition
    • No essential cracks
    • Minor restored cracks located on the lower left bout of the top table
  • Overall body length: 360 mm.
