  • Top table is two-piece fine vertical grained spruce
  • Back table is one-piece broad flamed maple
  • Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
  • Original scroll of plain grained maple with a moderately flamed maple neck graft
  • Varnish is transparent, deep brownish amber
  • Tonal qualities: deep, rich sound; projects nicely
  • Condition:
    • Top table has two cracks situated at the upper left bout which have been fully restored and are guaranteed by the Kolstein Shop. These cracks are non-essential and have no effect upon the tonal qualities or value of this fine instrument.
    • Back table has a professionally repaired post crack.
  • Overall body length: 350 mm.
