Kolstein Carcassi Model Lew Norton Bass

Beautiful 7/8 Size, Violin Cornered, Flat Back bass. Made in New York 

Bass's top table is made of a three-piece plate of slab-cut fir. The back table is a two-piece plate of slab-cut willow with matching willow ribs to that of the back table. The scroll and neck are original of plain grained, slab-cut poplar, with baker-style individual brass tuning gears. 

The bass has a rich deep reddish amber brown finish. Bass exudes a great depth, and projection, with fine old-world sound characteristics.
