In our opinion was made by JOSEPH ARTHUR VIGNERON of Paris circa 1900 and holds the maker's brand stamp 'A. VIGNERON A PARIS' on the handle. The frog and adjuster are later replacements. The stick is round in shape, formed of golden orange-brown pernambuco wood. The replacement frog is of ebony, silver mounted, a small pearl eye inset in either side, each encircled by a silver ring. The replacement adjuster is of divided silver with a center of ebony.
