  • Back table is a two-piece plate of broad figured maple
  • Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
  • Original scroll of of plain grained maple with a moderately flamed maple neck graft
  • Original tuning gears mounted on brass plates
  • Varnish is deep brownish amber
  • This extraordinary example of Dearborn workmanship is not only quite rare , but a spectacular sounding bass violin with great tonal qualities for both orchestral and jazz use
