  • Back table is a two-piece plate of flamed soft English maple
  • Ribs of matching English maple to that of the back table
  • Scroll is of a later period with a grafted poplar neck
  • Individual decorative brass tuners
  • Varnish is deep reddish brown
  • Extremely well designed bass for orchestral and solo purposes. Lush, dark projecting sound, quite even in all registers.
