  • Top table is a two-piece plate of fine vertical grained spruce
  • Back table is a two-piece plate of slight flamed maple
  • Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
  • Original scroll of plain grain maple with a moderately flamed maple neck graft
  • TThe gears are individual French tuning gears mounted on brass plates
  • Varnish is deep reddish brown
  • This fine example of Charles Nicholas Gand's workmanship has a wonderful, rich, deep arco and pizzacatto quality; great for jazz or symphonic use
