  • Back table is a two-piece plate of plain grained maple
  • Ribs of birdseye maple with ebony inserts located at the neck block
  • Scroll and neck of plain grained maple are from a later period
  • Individual Montavani style brass tuners
  • Varnish is deep brownish amber
  • Tonal qualities: extremely fine calibre sound; strong projection and lush in all registers; great solo and orchestral characteristics
  • Fully restored to perfect condition by Samuel Kolstein & Son, Ltd.
