  • Back table is a two-piece plate of moderately figured English maple with a circular ebony inlay below the neck block button
  • Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
  • Original scroll of slightly figured maple with a curly maple neck graft
  • Individual English brass tuning gears mounted on decorative brass plates
  • Varnish is reddish gold with shades of brown
  • This bass is an exceptional orchestral instrument of the finest quality with equally fine solo qualities; a rare, fine bass violin
