  • Top table is a six-piece plate of fir ranging from medium vertical grained at the center section to fine vertical grained on the outer flanks
  • Back table is a two-piece plate of slab cut poplar
  • Ribs of matching poplar to that of the back table
  • Original scroll of poplar with a moderately flamed maple neck graft
  • Montavani style individual brass tunning gears
  • Varnish is deep reddish brown
  • Extremely fine projection with great depth, open in all registers. An exceptional orchestral and solo bass.
