  • Top table is a two-piece plate of wide grained spruce
  • Back table is a two-piece plate of slightly figured English maple
  • Ribs of matching English maple
  • Original scroll of moderately flamed English maple with a moderately flamed maple neck graft
  • Baker style individual brass tuning gears mounted on brass plates
  • Varnish is deep brownish amber with great transparency
  • Exceptional bass with fine orchestral, jazz and solo qualities; string projection in all registers with impressive depth. An amazingly beautiful bass violin that was utilized on the highest level formerly in the Dallas Symphony.
