  • Top table is a two-piece plate of medium vertical grained spruce
  • Back table is a two-piece plate of highly flamed maple with flames slightly descending the center joint
  • Ribs of broad flamed maple
  • Scroll and neck are original of moderately flamed maple
  • Individual Baker style tuners mounted on brass plates
  • Varnish is deep brownish amber with reddish hues
  • This bass is a copy of a Vincenzo Panormo. Bass was previously owned by the late bass pedagogue Frederick Zimmermann.
  • Excellent condition
  • Overall body length: 45 1/2 in.
  • Width at the upper bout: 21 1/2 in.
  • Width at the center bout: 15 5/8 in.
  • Width at the lower bout: 26 5/8 in.
  • Mensure (string length): 41 7/8 in.
