  • Back table is a two-piece plate of slightly figured maple
  • Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
  • Original scroll
  • Fine, original French gears intact
  • Varnish is reddish brown
  • This bass was commissioned for the French Opera Company. A fine quality orchestral bass with a dark, lush, projecting sound.
