19 Century Attributed Turin, Italy Bass
19th C attr. Turin 3/4 size Bass is a uniquely sized instrument with a charming silhouette with gamba corners. The two-piece spruce has aged elegantly to a subtle mellow tone with reddish hues that perfectly matches the strikingly figured one-piece maple flat back. The bass has quite the tonal character and produces quite the sound from its small stature. In addition to the beautiful patina, the instrument has its original neck, scroll, brass tuning gears, ebony tailpiece, ebony fingerboard, and a Kolstein adjustable bridge.
