- Back table is two-piece moderately flamed maple with the flame ascending slightly at the center joint
- Ribs of highly flamed maple
- Original scroll of plain grained maple with a moderately flamed maple neck graft
- Varnish is brownish amber
- Tonal qualities: lush, pointed edge; extremely fine orchestral and solo instrument
