Guilio Degani Shop Violin Made in Venice, Italy c. 1910

  • Top table is two-piece medium vertical grained spruce
  • Back table is two-piece broad flamed poplar
  • Ribs of matching poplar to that of the back table
  • Scroll and neck are original of plain grained maple
  • Varnish is deep reddish brown
  • Tonal qualities: very high quality sound with great depth and darkness, yet powerful projection
  • Mint condition:
    • Top was restored in 1982 by Samuel Kolstein & Son, Ltd.
  • Overall body length: 357 mm.
