Joseph Panormo Violin maker (c. 1768 – 1837) is believed to have been born in Naples and worked for his father alongside his brothers, George and Louis. By 1801 he was working independently in his own shop in London, where he made violins and cellos of wonderful craftsmanship and dynamism.

Violin bears the maker’s label within. Fully certified with Dario D’Attili and Kolstein & Son, Ltd. certifications. Violin is in excellent condition.

- Top table is two-piece spruce with narrow grained at the center joint to wide grained at the outer flanks.
- Back table is two-piece quarter cut medium broad flamed maple with flames descending from the center joint.
- Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table.
- Scroll of narrow flamed quarter cut maple.
- Varnish is brownish amber

- This violin is an extremely fine example of quality Joseph Panormo workmanship in excellent condition. Masterful tonal qualities with aesthetics to match.
