Juzek Roundback Bass

Juzek Bass made in West Germany circa 1960 

The instrument is a 5/8 size gamba cornered Juzek made in West Germany Circa 1960. The top is a 2 piece wide vertical grained spruce. The back is a roundback model with two-piece maple. The ribs are of matching character to that of the back table. The neck and scroll are original of moderately flamed maple. The instrument has German plated tuning gears. The varnish is a deep reddish brown with amber hues. The instrument is in great condition. Excellent for Jazz or Orchestral playing.
