Kolstein's Guarneri model is a fine example of a violin corner pear-shaped 3/4-sized instrument that has excelled for many years in orchestral playing circles. Two piece medium grain spruce top, Poplar back and sides, Maple neck, Kolstein baker style brass tuning gears, ebony nut, fingerboard, Kolstein tailpiece, brass endpin and Kolstein adjustable bridge. Finished in an amber-reddish antique oil varnish.
